I know for a fact that the only reason one watches something for more than 15 or 20 minutes is because it has a plot and youre curious to know what happens next.

Playwrights Workshop of Brevard Mission
Our Mission: Helping new and established local playwrights improve their craft through feedback from members at play readings, and from audiences at community productions, while enriching the local community through premiering original one-act plays.
The play 'Checkered Linoleum' by Barbara Kreher won the Bencich Award for 2007-2008. The Bencich Award recognizes the best script in each Playwrights Workshop season. The top three plays, as ranked by the audiences, compete as finalist at the end of season PlayRead. A panel of three expert judges then select the final winner.
Congratulations to the finalists for 2007-2008 season Bencich Award as listed below. The Bencich Award is awarded annually for the best new script of the production season. The finalists are the top three plays based on the audience scores. The Bencich Award winner will be selected at the Playwrights Workshop 'Read Off' in June and will be selected by a committee of three experienced playwrights.
